The Voice
One of the main things
I do on a day to day basis is watch television. I love watching television and
mainly watch entertainment, soaps and dramas.
The Voice is the new
BBC programme which is shown on Saturdays at 7pm. It is currently on it’s 3rd
episode and the premise of the show is people singing to 4 coaches who each
have their back turned to the artist so they can’t see them. The coaches are
Will.I.Am, Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue.
If the coaches like
what they hear, they turn around for them to be on their team. The scenarios
are: If one person turns round, the artist is automatically in their team. If
they all turn around then the artist gets to pick and if none turn around then
the artist has to go home.
Unlike shows such as
The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, there is no ‘bad people’ as they all
have a singing background and where selected for the show. The catch is however
the judges can only pick 10 each. The show features, blind auditions, battle stage and then the live shows. The winner wins a record deal with universal.
This show, in my opinion
is brilliant in the fact that it is entertaining due to the banter between
judges and the talent from the show. All the judges are talented and know about what they are talking about.
